Prices start from £70 for a 6 inch and from £90 for an 8 inch. Prices are based on vanilla flavour with strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream and simple decoration with ribbon trim.
Please allow a little extra for other flavours.
Sugar decorations are an additional cost.

I will do my best to meet any last minute orders but ideally at least 4 weeks notice is required. Summer months and holidays get especially busy so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Zesty Lemon - a zesty lemon sponge filled with zesty lemon curd & lemon buttercream
Lemon & Elderflower - One of my most popular flavours! A zesty lemon sponge infused with a lemon and elderflower syrup, layered with elderflower buttercream and lemon curd filling.
White Chocolate and Strawberry/Raspberry - a vanilla infused sponge layered with silky white chocolate buttercream and strawberry or raspberry conserve
Chocolate Fudge - a rich, fudgy chocolate sponge layered with smooth belgian chocolate buttercream or alternatively, hazelnut buttercream
Cherry Bakewell- an almond flavoured sponge layered with raspberry conserve and vanilla buttercream

Under the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) I have to advise you of why I take your details and the way I keep and store them.
Your data is stored and used by myself, Verity, at The Baking Fairy. You can contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I only use your details to action orders you have placed with me and to contact you regarding your orders. I will not share your data with any organisations outside of The Baking Fairy and your details will only be used for the purposes I have discussed.
Your details are stored on my business use iPad, which is kept at home and is secured via finger print recognition and a PIN code. You have the right at any time to ask for your personal details to be destroyed or deleted.
I will retain details of your order for 6 years in order to comply with HMRC requirements.
If at any point you wish to see a copy of the data I hold on you, details of how I use and store your data, or receive further details regarding your rights, you can request this from me via phone or e-mail using the details I provided above.
All sponge cakes allow more servings as they are between 5 and 6 inches tall. I also make extra deep cakes at a minimum of 7 inches tall. These are extremely popular and give a modern look.

PLEASE NOTE: When collecting your cake, you will need to have an empty space in a flat boot or footwell to transport your cake in. Once you have collected the order, all responsibility for the cake or cupcakes is passed onto the customer and The Baking Fairy cannot be responsible for any damages in transit or dropped cakes etc. If transporting a tiered cake, great care must be taken whilst driving.
In the hot summer months an air conditioned vehicle is advised. Cakes/cupcakes are covered in buttercream, ganache and fondant which will melt if left in a hot car. After collection it is advised to go straight to your destination and remove the cake(s) from the car as soon as possible.
Upon arrival at your destination, the cake/cupcakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, they should NOT be stored in the fridge prior to your event.
I bake in a kitchen which is not allergen free so cakes may contain traces of milk, wheat, nuts, soya, and other allergens. Please ensure all recipients are aware of this information (an allergen label is provided with every order).
All photos of cakes are owned by The Baking Fairy and may be used on social media and websites.
Orders are only secure once a 50% deposit has been received. This is non refundable and the remaining balance will need to be paid upon collection.
Weddings are secured with £100 non refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least a month before the wedding date.

Do you deliver? Deliveries are only available for wedding cakes or tiered cakes covering the whole of Kent. Delivery and set up will be an additional cost included in your quote.
Collection for all other celebration cakes are from my home in Walmer, Deal, Kent.
Do you require a deposit? A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. The remaining balance is paid upon collection.
For wedding cakes, £100 non-refundable deposit must be paid. The remaining balance must be paid 4 weeks before the wedding date. Deposits can be paid by bank transfer or cash.
How far in advance to I need to order?Ideally, as early as possible. Dates get booked very quickly, especially in wedding season. I am already taking bookings for 2020. A deposit of £100 will secure your date in the diary and design can be finalised nearer your date if you aren't sure yet.
